Know by Virtual Reality the Free School of Law of Sinaloa

A historic space, where students and teachers daily coexist under its spacious corridors in complete harmony and respect.

This building faced the Government Palace until 1960, with the last Governor of Sinaloa to occupy it being General Gabriel Leyva Velázquez.

We liked this old building with two interior courtyards, adorned by two majestic mango trees that bore fruit for the delight of its students and teachers.

Official Government Residence

In other words, the home of many Governors, with the last one to inhabit it being Governor Pablo Macías Valenzuela.

When a handful of Quixotes of Legal Science Teaching, driven by Social, Political, and Protectionist reasons, found ourselves compelled to found the Free School of Law of Sinaloa.

We liked this old building with two interior courtyards, adorned by two majestic mango trees that bore fruit for the delight of its students and teachers.

The historical importance of this beautiful building lies not only in its location, but also in the fact that it was an Official Residence or Government House.

The building had previously been the seat of the Attorney General’s Office, the State Judicial Police (now Ministerial Police), and also of a business dedicated to the sale of stationery and school supplies.

When we began to work under its colonial roofs, we signed a Lease Agreement with the Ojeda Ibarra Family, who were its owners. Subsequently, with a loan from Banoro, we acquired it through a purchase made from the aforementioned Ojeda Ibarra Family.

The Free School of Law of Sinaloa, in May 2017, will celebrate 45 years of striving in the always fertile furrow of Legal Culture.

Today, this Historic Mansion has a new face while preserving the structural features of its colonial architecture.

We invite those who do not know the front facade and interiors of our Mansion of Legal Academic Studies, located at 266 West Rosales in the Historic Center of this beautiful Sinaloan capital, to visit it.

You will always be welcomed.

All of us who have had the responsibility of being Rectors, including myself (1990-1993), gradually carried out maintenance, cleaning, and remodeling work to give strength to the old structure of this beautiful building.

How this Virtual Tour was Made

On a Friday in November, after checking in the Planner of the Photopills application at what time the blue hour would begin, we arrived at 5:45 in the morning at the building where the Free School of Law of Sinaloa is located, and at 5:55 we began to take the spherical photographs for this virtual tour.
