The first hotel with a tourist category since 1987. It is an honor to share that Hotel Yauco is a Rosarense company that provides lodging, food and beverages, events, and guided tours on the tourist routes that we develop for this municipality.
Architecture and Location
Strategically located on international highway 15. It has the colonial architecture of the mining town founded in 1655. The hotel building is framed by 58 arches on its 2 floors with 36 rooms and 4 Jr suites surrounded by corridors and gardens.
We have had renovations adding rooms, Junior Suites, and El Señorial Events with artistically painted walls and the distinctive Mural “Rosario en el Tiempo” where we capture our history.
With an unparalleled view of Cerro Yauco, which is said to be the mountain where the Totorames offered their harvests to the gods and which today we know as the sleeping Giant, guarding this town.
La Palapa de Lola Restaurant-Bar is a special mix of palapa and quarry pillars with a central pool, giving it freshness and a touch of El Rosario miner where pink quarry buildings predominated: Ruins of the 1st temple, Viceregal Portals, Spanish Pantheon, and Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary which is just a few blocks from the hotel.
We are a self-sustainable hotel generating energy with solar panels and committed to environmental care.
History is built day by day
We have hosted mining companies that, attracted by the data on gold and silver production in this area, carried out exploration work that reactivated mining in the mountainous area of the municipality.
We are proud to host companies and individuals who come to collaborate in the development of the South of Sinaloa, including great personalities from sports, politics, and culture like the famous Lola Beltrán, a distinguished daughter of this town known worldwide.
During her last 6 years of life, when she came to visit her family or to sing Las mañanitas to the Virgin of the Rosary on the first Sunday of October, she would request room #114, where Juan Gabriel also stayed when he came to the funeral services of his great friend Lola.
For many years La Prieta Linda and her friend Silvia, and later Ma Elena Leal, Lola’s daughter, came to sing Las mañanitas to the virgin and to hold Musical Festivals in honor of Lola with famous composers and singers to whom Hotel Yauco provided lodging and food.
