The Island Orabá is located in Culiacán, on the bed of the Tamazula River, at the confluence with the Humaya River, where the Culiacán River is born. It takes part of a series of parks and gardens that have been built on the banks of the three rivers.
From early in the morning, lots of people visit to do different activities; such as exercising, walking, running, bicycling, or just to simply have a stroll in between the enormous trees and the gardens where plants like rose bushes and colorful bougainvilleas abound.

Groups of ladies practice yoga and take Zumba classes, therefore it is common to hear very cheerful Latin music.
On some weekends, musical groups present delectable artistic shows at the Isla Orabá, where families can enjoy these events while using the grills and tables located among the park, getting to spend time together enjoying beautiful evenings; with children happily playing.
Historic Centre
From the Isla Orabá, it only takes a few minutes walking to reach the Historic Centre of the city; path that is part of a turistic corridor with major attractions including the Cathedral, Plazuela Álvaro Obregón, Mercado Gamendia, the Sanctuary, the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, Plazuela Rosales, the Casa de la Cultura, the Interactive Museum against Addictions, and the Museum of Art of Sinaloa.

The Isla Orabá is connected to the Aquatic Park and Las Riberas Park, one of the largest and most beautiful parks in northwestern Mexico.
The Isla Orabá counts too with playgrounds, exercise equipment, and tables and grills for families. Due to its location, the dining options are quite numerous; from formal restaurants in the Forum Shopping Center, the Desarollo Urbano Tres Ríos, and the Historic Center, to small regional food stalls.
